As 2025 comes to an end, I wanted to celebrate our new creations, share a few stories of studio mishaps, and reveal some of our plans for what's next!
This was a special year for us as our co-founder Ara was able to move up to rejoin the team, and we celebrated 5 years in business! In addition to the regular drops and convention appearances - we poured nearly every waking moment into ambitious projects, aiming to explore more of the characters behind CFT with art, writing, and interactive content for all to enjoy.
Did your favorite model top the charts? Can you guess what the most popular colors were ordered for customs? Buckle up - the answers may surprise you!
Although we primarily sell Ready to Ship inventory, we also offer custom slots of most models so you can get the perfect model, size, firmness, and colors of your dreams! Since Helmutt was only around for a very brief time period around April Fool's, it makes sense that this silly fascinus placed first this year!
If you looked at all the variations of our lovable werewolf: Cyrus, Emblazoned Cyrus, and Cyrus Remastered model numbers combined, they would just barely take the crown from Helmutt.
About 18% of our models were ordered 10 or more times.
27% of our models received an average of 8 orders each.
55% of our models were ordered fewer than 5 times.
(Note: these stats are from customs placed directly on the site, not complex customs via email or by Made to Order slots.)
Just like it says on the tin, these colors were ordered the most on custom toys this year! All colors except two of these are custom mixed by us (meaning the pigments aren't available as-is and we combine up to 4 different pigments to achieve each color!)
Onyx, Deep Galaxy, Moonstone, Alexandrite, Kunzite, Rose Quartz.
Our new Varya Grinder really stole the show! This was one of the first digital sculpts that Fuzz fine tuned for almost a full year before her debut on Valentine's Day 2025.
There was a lot to learn with 3D printing for us, and we learned the hard way that 3D printed resin wasn't as durable as our old method of casting a resin copy off clay sculpts! After much post work to polish it up, we're proud of the final design and have so much fun doing shark inspired pours on this model!
This is a tough one to answer! But this year, we've seen the most chatter around Laguna the Siren. As an honorable mention, our newest model Bastien also had a lot of fanfare!
We do have a poll up in our Rewards Club that has been open since September 2022, so the results are a bit skewed to favor our earlier characters. By those numbers, Kose, Cyrus, and Artemis would be our top 3!
Maybe we'll reset the poll each year, for science! :)
We still managed to fit in quite a few sales events this year! Accounting for convention travel alone, we toted several hundreds of pounds of silicone and table setups across a combined 23,000 miles.
At the end of 2024, we had a goal to dedicate more time to filling in missing illustrations and giving more of a focus on the characters behind the toy models and the world of "Creature Cove." Before CFT, we were already artists, writers, and game designers - so merging our passions was really important to us personally as creatives and we love making content for all to enjoy!
- Things kicked off with our Museum Date theme that lasted for about three months. For each drop, we aimed to make toys that would match museum curations (precious stones, insects, famous artworks, etc.) In February we launched the very first Souvenir Box that was full of hand-assembled items!
- The next event picked up right where Museum Date left off in our Enchanted Mystery theme - bringing another Souvenir kit, a scavenger hunt, and a Ticket to Trouble, a free visual novel that combines a high stakes murder mystery with monster romance (still in progress!)
- Emerald Isle is the final destination of the enchanted train from the previous theme, and September was our 5th anniversary, so a Summer Celebrations theme was fitting!
Each of the themed souvenir boxes contained a variety of goodies, as well as a matching "souvenir ticket"!
- Our last theme of the year was Dungeons & Dildos for Black Friday, which we experimented with a multi-part text adventure that matched you with one of five different parties and let you choose your adventure each week, leading up to the grand reveal of our newest model, Bastien the Wyvern.
You can join the adventure here!

Early into this year, our drop sales and convention acceptances began to decline and we had too much inventory, so we decided to spend more time on Made to Order designs instead of big restocks. The idea was that we could bring back some of our classic designs, add new complex designs (with many color options), and do a few collabs. (Not pictured: Fossil Dig and Poison Apple)
Going forward we may be experimenting more, but overall likely streamlining options and limiting slots so we can have faster turnaround times now that drop demand is seeming to pick up again.
Being a full time silicone-slinger, it's not always easy to describe your job to others or to find business resources that directly apply to what we do. Here's a few examples of funny moments we encountered this year!
Looking back through the months, we kept ourselves more than busy and knocked out quite a few of our personal goals! That said, there's still dozens of projects we've had to set aside until we had the tools or time to revisit them. It seems like 2026 will be a great year for:
We truly wouldn't be able to keep creating fun monsters and stories without you - so thank you!!!!
With everything we do, we try to make the world a little more colorful with our crew of lovable monsters. When we first began, it seemed like a faraway dream for us to make this our full time career - but it's truly an honor to be able to combine our passions and work together to make a safe and exciting world of fantasy toys! 🧡
As we make progress with all the new models we'll be gathering feedback, sharing previews, and having exclusive giveaways in our Discord and Insider Newsletter! They have become our main hubs since social media likes to censor adult content. We'd love to have you join if you haven't already!
